Using Microsoft Entra ID for single sign-on (SSO)

If your team uses Microsoft to run your business, you can set up single sign-on (SSO) to allow teammate to access Ad Reform using their Microsoft account.

Setting up SSO

  1. Go to your SSO settings

  2. Click Connect your Microsoft account

  3. Follow the steps to authorize Ad Reform to connect your Microsoft account for SSO purposes

Requiring SSO for increased access control

Once configured, you can optionally choose to require SSO, which means your team can only access Ad Reform by signing in via Microsoft. This can be helpful for larger teams who want additional access controls.

To make SSO required, just check the Require users to sign in with Microsoft option in your SSO settings:

Once required, any user who tries to log in and access your Ad Reform account will be prompted to use Microsoft SSO to log in.

To do so, they can use the Sign in with Entra ID button the login page:

Once you've configured Entra ID within your SSO settings, you can manage the application properties from within the Microsoft Entra admin center.

Here are properties you can edit:

Enabled for users to sign-in?

Yes

If this option is set to yes, then assigned users will be able to sign in to this application, either from My Apps, the User access URL, or by navigating to the application URL directly.
If this option is set to no, then no users will be able to sign in to this app, even if they are assigned to it.

Assignment required?

No

If this option is set to yes, then users and other apps or services must first be assigned this application before being able to access it.
If this option is set to no, then all users will be able to sign in, and other apps and services will be able to obtain an access token to this service.

Visible to users?

Yes

If this option is set to yes, then assigned users will see the application on My Apps and O365 app launcher.

If this option is set to no, then no users will see this application on their My Apps and O365 launcher.
